Update on January 25

City Hall has officially reopened!

Update on January 24

City Hall will be remain closed until further notice. We are taking this on a day-by-day basis and will reopen when we feel it is safe for our staff and the public.

EAST WENATCHEE, WA – In response to the current surge in COVID-19 cases in Douglas and Chelan Counties, the City of East Wenatchee will be temporarily closing City Hall to the public. This temporary closure will go into effect at 2:00pm on January 19, 2022, and will help limit the spread of COVID-19 among staff and ensure adequate staffing levels for continued City operations.

City Services will remain in place, but in-person services will be temporarily unavailable for the rest of this week. The City will reevaluate the current COVID-19 case count, on Monday, to determine whether reopening is appropriate at that time. For those that need to come to City Hall to do work in-person, please call ahead and each department will be making special accommodations on a case-by-case basis. The Police Department and Municipal Court windows will remain open at this time, as will the East Wenatchee Library.

Visit for online services and departmental information or call (509) 884-9515 to speak with someone directly.
